Intensive Moscow's Strikes Disrupt Electricity Across Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in the region
The country's power facilities have faced increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in the city's east were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to drinking water, according to city officials.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has increased strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has called for "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.

"What is required is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the United States, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing air defence systems and implementing restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were working to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes struck energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the attacks on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by local officials.

Area administrators said the urban area experienced intense attacks overnight. A young boy lost their life and multiple civilians were hurt.

The attacks come after nights of bombing campaigns in the region, parts of which are occupied by Moscow's military.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to identify.

National leaders told reporters that Russia was deliberately attempting to damage the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were bracing for more assaults.
